Fall Activities
We went tp see Brandon last weekend. I had visioned a great family reunion ,a son who now loves and misses us all. Brandon let us come up to his room but his roomate wasn't there. I sugested he show us around campus . He took us to the center fountain and I thought about this poor kid with 7 people following him around a campus full of peers. We were quite a sight. I guess I don't blame him for nor being overly enthusiastic. We went to a park that was beautiful with a wonderful waterfall.(whatcome Falls). Autumn wouldn't get out of the car to see it. She wanted to sleep. We'd only been traveling 41/2 hours and she needed more. Oh the joy of a 16 year old. We all slept in one room at a lovely cheap motel with a free breakfast bar. Josh and Hyrum didn't like the hot tub because three old guys came in with their beer. We left. Sat we drove up to mt. Baker. It was so beautiful with all the fall leaves and a blue glacier on top. I had made so many comments on the beauty and wanting the kids to get out and enjoy the stops on the way up that when we got to the top not one child would get out to see the best part. They all mocked me all the way back but they missed it. Randy and I enjoyed the little walk at the top. Ohhh children. We met a girl that Brandon does things with She was cute. We left Sat PM It was a lot of driving but a nice trip. Brandon is doing well and loves college and being in charge of himself.
I made apple sauce today and my thing that strains the juice from the seeds, skin and stems broke . I had to finish it by pushing the apples by hand through a strainer. It took all day. I only did 18 quarts. But I do love doing it. I put on Mom's Memories,John Denver (Janett thanks) and had my day.Autumns Asian friend ,Choong was over tonight and it took many times of calling the kids back to the kitchen to help me get it cleaned up. He wondered why Randy and I allways shout and are angry. I told Autumn to bring him over at 5:30 am . Things start out well but by the end of the day it is unraveled. It is a little harder to run a house with 6 kids than his with 2 and a grandma. Oh I'm tired. But I love you all.

life moves on

I think I will blog today. We are doing great. Brandon is liking college and doesn't talk to us as much.He is busy and enjoys his classes. We don't have school this Fri so we are all going up to see him and let the kids see what college is like. I am busy with young women projects I feel like i don't quite know my job yet but I am learning daily.
